IME Co-operative Service Limited (IMECSL) was established in 2067 as the National Level Pioneer Co-operative with a strong belief in contributing to the economic growth of the country, providing services and empowerment to all groups and sectors of society. It was founded by financial institutions, corporations, trade and industry promoters with a strong background. The Cooperative envisions becoming a dominant player in the Nepalese co-operative as well as the financial industry.
Since its inception, the co-operative has completed years of journey. The co-operative has dedicated itself to continually striving to achieve its objectives by leading the banking sector on all fronts expanding its footprint inside and outside the region and targeting under-served or future areas of business, such as SMEs. We have a 15 Service Center Networks, 10000+ Members, and 110 employees. Co-operative infrastructures and processes have been reshaped and restructured to provide a high level of compliance.

Our team of experienced finance and management experts are committed to building an organization that is willing to meet the needs of everyone, whether large or small.
IME Co-operative provides a full range of financial products in deposit schemes, loans and advances, and inward/outward remittances. Its portfolio of deposit schemes involves saving deposits customized to the members, periodic (fixed) deposits, and call deposits. Likewise, the loans and advances portfolio includes loan schemes such as term loans and demand loans, whereas the cooperative also has a full portfolio of personal loan schemes such as Housing Loan, Auto Loan, Agriculture Loan, Business Loan etc. In addition to this, the cooperative also provides domestic remittance (inward/outward remittance) and foreign inward remittance facility through its service centers and sub-agents across the country.
IME Co-operative has pioneered in providing modern banking services like E-Banking and SMS Banking. It has been undertaking value-added services such as Debit Card, ATM Services and SMS notification services. The co-operative also provides its members with free ABBS services through 12 service centers.
Currently, IME Co-operative runs and expands its programs across 12 service centers across the country. All the service centers have been set up as a full-service platform that provides the clients with a whole range of services.

The cooperative’s consistent growth, development and performance with full assurance of healthy financials has been possible through constant, persistent and dedicated efforts of the management team. All the members of the cooperatives senior management team are well qualified and versed with nuts and bolts of the financial and overall market.
The management team as a whole comprises of the young and talented members that draw together diverse sets of skills and experiences in the diverse areas within the country’s financial industry.
The management is led by Mr. Arjun Poudel Sharma who has rich experience in both banking and remittance industry. Previously director of IME Financial Institution Ltd, Mr. Sharma also spent about 10 years in remittance industry as the director of International Money Express limited in Malaysia. Presently he is associated with IMECSL as its CEO.
