SMS BANKING

SMS Banking is a technology-enabled service offering that allows our valued members to operate our selected services over their mobile phones using SMS messaging.

Our SMS banking lets you keep track of your account even while you are on the move. Through this, IMECSL members can perform various financial and non-financial transactions. You can find your balance statement at your fingertips and receive important information about your account directly on your phone at all times and locations.

To avail of the service you just have to register yourself for the facility by filling a simple registration form at the customer service department of our office.

The following features are available with our SMS Banking Facility:

1. Balance Enquiry

Keyword for Balance inquiry:  BE
Process:

  • Type PIN_CODE <space> BE
  • Send it to NTC(33040) or NCELL(33040)

Note: IF MEMBER HAVE MULTIPLE ACCOUNT THEN PLEASE FOLLOW THIS WAY
Process:

  • Type PIN_CODE <space> BE <space> 2 (2 or 3 or more is always depends on how many accounts you have in your SMS banking)
  • Send it to NTC(33040) or NCELL(33040)


2. Statement for Last Five Transaction

Keyword for Last 5 Transactions:  LT

Process:

  • Type PIN_CODE <space> LT
  • Send it to NTC(33040) or NCELL(33040).


3. Statement Request

Keyword for Statement Request:  SR

Process:

  • Type PIN_CODE <space> SR
  • Send it to NTC(33040) or NCELL(33040).


4. Cheque Book Request

Keyword for Cheque Book Request:  CR

Process:

  • Type PIN_CODE <space> CR
  • Send it to NTC(33040) or NCELL(33040).


5. Change Pin

Keyword to change pin:  CPIN

Process:

  • Type OLD_PIN <space>CPIN <space> NEW_PIN
  • Send it to NTC(33040) or NCELL(33040).
